Warsaw Students Make Inaugural Trip to Boston

In late February, Warsaw Sports Marketing Center undergraduate program manager Josh Gordon and ten undergraduate students embarked on their first Boston study tour, engaging with myriad industry partners and attending the Sloan Sports Analytics Conference. The experiential learning trip was designed to create an immersive industry experience for our undergraduate sports business students and help them better understand issues at the cutting edge of the industry. It also served as a wonderful opportunity to expose students to city life on the East Coast, proudly throw the O and fly the Warsaw flag, and better understand additional student opportunities around internships and jobs.

Site visits included Fenway Sports Management, the Boston Athletic Association, John Hancock, Gillette corporate headquarters and Gillette Stadium, New Balance, and Major League Lacrosse. The Warsaw Center thanks Gordon for his leadership in creating this new opportunity for its students. The center is also grateful to the alumni who supported the trip by providing insights, hosting site visits, and engaging with students.

Those who would like to get involved in future trips are welcome to contact Josh Gordon.
